US-based Vizag native helps children of Sitarampur

Bengal Mirror, Sitarampur : Mr. Ravi Bhupathi, a native of Vizag, settled in Northern Virginia, USA, has opened up his heart and wallet for the 100+ destitute children of Sitarampur. He has donated funds to the Help for Sitarampur Project to cover the weekly ration costs for all these children for 2 weeks. This is a big help to the project which is providing daily lunch or ration to these needy children for more than a year now.


In today’s food distribution event, one of the senior volunteers, Rajani Das informed us that today 110 children received fruit cake, 3 packs of Maggie Noodles, 250 grams of puffed rice, Bananas and a pack of chanchur. Apart from Rajani Das, several other members of the Help for Sitarampur Project helped in today’s distribution: Chand, Disha co-secretary Debabrata Adhikari, Senior teacher Bishwanath Mitra and Bapi Sarkar.
It is important to note that Mr. Bhupathi is making this donation as a tribute to the life-long philanthropic work of his departed father
